Not much a "diary" anymore. Knew I couldn't keep the daily journal up for long. A good thing is I am still making good progress with the playing.
Yesterday had a lesson. Lori said my tone sounded great. I only had some difficulties with the flat and sharp notes - not always on top of the fingering. This need some practice.
Reading more Galway. For recordings, he recommends Jean-Pierre Rampal, William Bennett, Julius Baker, Heifetz (violin), Horowitz (piano), and Maria Callas (voice).
Bought a tuner on eBay and hopefully will get it this week.
