My birthday! Got up and practiced a little. Practiced some last night. But nothing the day before. This week I am just re-doing the stuff I wasn't doing right last week. But this week is 2 days short.
Went to A2SO concert tonight and saw Lori the the orchestra. It's a "Mozart birthday concert", so the program includes some Mozart pieces. The Serenade No. 9 in D major, "Post Horn" K. 320 has a lot of flute passages. They really sound elegant. Not like my flute playing. The principal flutist is Penelope Fischer who studied with Jean-Pierre Rampal. So Lori is only the second flutist.
Happy birthday to myself and hope this new age will bring me much joy of flute playing.
